Cerrig Falconers

Stuart and Val Wilkinson of Cerrig Falconry feature on the BBC Radio Wales 'Country Focus' together with Gail's work with Operation Jimmy in a piece about Protecting Birds of Prey from Power Poles / Lines and the efforts of Scottish Power to make large birds safe. We were all interviewed by Chris Dearden for the programme which aired on    Sunday 18/10/2015 7am, whose podcast can be listened to   here. The programme links the work they have done (to have Scottish Power safeguard new power poles in the location where their birds fly) to that of Operation Jimmy in a very pleasing way.

Here is their letter to Julian Hughes which appeared in the Daily Post on Thursday 21 May 2015

Here is the Cerrig Falconry banner which features in any events which Stuart and Val take their birds to such as the Henllan Summer Fair, where Gail has visited and seen them wonderfully in action.

Cerrig Falconers do extraordinary work, flying, rearing and rehabilitating birds of prey for decades with great success and impeccable standards. Stuart is also invited to give educational talks and recently gave a training session to local Police Wildlife Crime Officers, about the nature, behaviour and safe handling of raptors.
