The Dangers of Electricity

The amount of electricity needed to power a 100-watt bulb is enough to kill a person. In electrical maintenance, where voltages are extremely high,
electrical safety is imperative to avoid the risk of fatal electrocution.

Electrocution = death caused by electric current passing through a body

The word is derived from "electro" and "execution", but it is also used for accidental death.
If a strong enough current enters at such a point to travel on through the heart it is lethal.
